In this unit I have learnt a lot of important things. Whatever the level of class, and however the teacher arranges the study phase of the lesson, there are four things that students need to do with new language; be exposed to it, understand its meaning, understand how it's constructed and be able to practise and produce it. This unit also has showed me what a teacher must include in teaching new language and those are: vocabulary, grammar and functions. The aim of the lesson is to let student to know the meaning of new words, use of them, word grammar, interaction, spelling and pronunciation of new words. Moreover this unit helped to know which techniques are important for a teacher to use in each stage of lesson, for example, using pictures, discussion, gap fills and others.
