This unit gives important knowledge for teaching a variety of TEFL/TESOL students, including beginners, adult learners, children, and students of Business English. My greatest takeaway from this lesson is that it is always important to consider the needs of students, and this can vary depending on students' age, background, and motivations. For example, young learners will often be less motivated to learn English, so it's important to make short and engaging activities to keep their attention. Business English students have very specific purposes for learning English, so it's important to plan lessons suited to their needs while also considering that they have busy schedules without much time for English lessons and homework. Multilingual classrooms will contain a diverse range of students who require English to communicate with each other, but it might be more difficult to identify their individual needs than in a monolingual classroom of students with similar educational backgrounds and English difficulties.
