This unit teaches how to use the different conditionals and reported speech correctly. It tells us that there are two main clauses in a sentence. They are the 'if' clause and the main clause. The "if' clause is the condition that has to be satisfied before the action in the main clause can be recognized. The main clause can be thought of as indicating what the consequence is. This unit tells us there are five main conditionals:zero conditional, first conditional, second conditional, third conditional, and mixed conditional. Each conditional is broken down to their form and usage. We are also given the differences between reported speech and direct speech with examples for each provided.
