Phonology is the study and classification of the physical properties of sounds. Intonation is the variation of volume and pitch through the sentence( depends on what are we talking about and what we expect from the people we are talking with.). We use stress to emphasize words and to put the exact sense in the sentence. Also every word has stress. The major ways of sounds joining in English are : linking, sound dropping( d, t), sound changing and extra lettering. There is the International Phonemic Alphabet chart, which is universal. Places of articulation: velar, palatal, palatal-alveolar, alveolar, dental, labor-dental, bilabial, glottal. Manners of articulation: plosive, fricative, basal, lateral, affricative and approximant.
