There are special groups beginners fall into the are: beginners, individual, young learners, business English learners, monolingual and multilingual learners, and there are special things to do and keep in mind when working with each of the groups. Within the group of beginners there are absolute beginners, false beginners, adults beginners, young beginners, and beginners without the roman alphabet. There are do and don't to keep in mind. Some of the 'do's' and 'don'ts' would be: Keep it simple., get them talking, use repetition, don't over correct them, be as patient as humanly possible, do address them individually, respond to their individual needs, pay lots of games, use pair work, don't be afraid to make fun of yourself. Each group whether they are adult or business beginners come to the class with the pro and cons, and the teacher needs to be aware of them and always make sure to bring materials to class, and not speak their native language, be fun and engaging, and care about their class, and every student in it.
