This unit is talking about the basic grammatical structure and identifying the parts of speech. I learned some of knowledge about basic grammar in the past, so this unit is more like a review to me. When I read the content, I gained more knowledge that I did not learn from the past. For example, in indefinite articles, I know a + singular noun beginning with a consonant and an + singular noun beginning with a vowel, but I do not know a + singular noun beginning with a consonant sound eg. a university and an + singular noun beginning with a vowel sound eg. an hour. It is really interesting that I learned today and it is really helpful for my further teaching career.
