In this unit we learned all about the four present tenses: Present simple, Present continuous, Present perfect and Present perfect continuous. We learned the rules and usages for each tense. I feel like I have learned the subtle differences between sentences in the present tense, that as a fluent english speaker I had not paid attention to in the past. I believe it is important for a teacher of English language to know the tenses very well in order to best instruct students and correct mistakes.
