This unit focused on remaining grammar points that ESL teachers are likely to encounter. Modal verbs are used when requesting permission, expressing ability, making requests, etc. There are different degrees of formality that can be used. It also went over the passive voice, which is used when the subject doing an action is not needed. Phrasal verbs were probably the most difficult part of this unit. They are verbs and particles used together to create new meaning.
