Unit 18 pertains to the following topics: modals, phrasal verbs and the passive voice generally. In particular, the following sub-topics were included: modal auxiliary verbs and the basic rules to be followed in order to understand them, the active and the passive voice, and independent clauses, dependent or subordinate clauses, and adjectival clauses, which contained the relative pronouns that helped in the recognition of the clauses.
I have acquired an enormous amount of knowledge from this unit. The most challenging being the topic entitled 'Phrasal Verbs'.
I know that you told me not to be afraid of 'Phrasal Verbs'. However, I must confess to you, my professor, that I am indeed, extremely afraid of these little verbs, especially the type 1, type 2 and type 3. They are very scary, especially the type 1 and the type 2, which reminds me of Diabetes. I will review these phrasal verbs over and over and over and over. Thanks for this unit.
