This unit covered the simple present, present continuous, present perfect, and present perfect continuous. The simple present is typically used for stating facts, habits, and routines. The present continuous is used for events happening at the time of speaking. The present perfect is used for events in an indefinite time in the past, things that happened in the past and are still true now, , and describing the past tense with current results. I learned the usages of the present perfect which made learning the usages of the present perfect continuous a bit easier.
