This unit really focuses on management of the classroom. The teacher should be mindful of gestures, eye contact, seating arrangements, how to group the student, develop rapport, and of course increase STT (student talk time). I learned that children with behavioral problems might be children with low self esteem instead of high self esteem (which I mistakenly believed). I also learned that it is important to sometimes let students correct each other. I thought it might make students hesitant of speaking but now disagree.
