This was an interesting introduction to the course. I did not know what to expect when I signed up for these classes but I am happy that I did. As a special education teacher, I found parallels with the qualities of a special education teacher and an ESOL teacher. Best teaching practices, for example, identified as monitor, facilitator, etc., work well for students with learning problems too but never saw them labeled as such.This was very useful information to share with my colleagues.
