Unit 3 focuses on the various theories, methods, and techniques of teaching, such as: Grammar-translation, audio-lingualism, PPP (presentation, practice, and production), task-based learning, communicative language teaching, community language learning, the silent way, suggestopaedia, the Lexical approach, how to utilize elicitation, and ESA (Engage, Study, and Activate). The various exercises that can be used with each respective portion of ESA were also provided and explained. Lastly, the difference between mistakes and errors were cover, as well as when to appropriately correct a student.
