This unit illustrated the practical approaches to searching for a teaching job overseas and guides us to the considerations we must make when searching for a job and when behaving in a new, unfamiliar territory. There were many useful resources for job search, networking and gaining employment as an English teacher.
I found the ESP resources websites particularly useful as there are many useful resources for all levels of English teaching that I can adapt from. I like that there are also many articles with interviews of other fellow English teachers who have taught at various countries and I am able to glean some insights and be inspired by their stories.
