This unit covers some guidelines for a language teacher to plan a proper and successful lesson. The importance of a lesson planning often relate to these question, “Why plan a lesson?”
First and foremost, a lesson plan creates logical sequence of stages involve in the teaching and learning process. It is referred as the teacher’s working document which he/she can refer to if unsure of what next to do during a lesson. Secondly, it creates a record of document and will be used as a proof of work done by a teacher on particular time or class.Lastly, it can be use for someone else to take over the class when a teacher is absent.
