The unit discusses teaching the receptive skills of reading and listening, and it feels like we are now getting into more specifics on teaching English and teaching in general. the unit piqued my interest and has me pondering how to teach reading and listening effectively. I think listening will be very challenging to teach because as mentioned in the it is not something that can be easily reviewed and broken down because it is brief and not concrete like a page of an article. It will be interesting attempting to teach these skills for the first time.
