Unit one gave an overview of what it takes to be a successful teacher, student, and what roles teachers can play in the classroom. It then touched on categories that could benefit or deter the student from learning such as motivation and nervousness. The unit closed by giving levels of learners. I have taken away good information from this unit such as what makes a good learner. In my opinion, being able to understand what makes a good learner is very important for the teacher. The teacher should be able to respond and act accordingly to different situations from different students. A good teacher will know how to handle each situation and get the most out of each student.
