The various roles of a teacher can include being an instructor, a facilitator, a psychologist, a policeman, a counselor and a mentor to your students. In the context of teaching English for business purposes, your students may likely be more knowledgeable about the "business" end of things - which is not only a great opportunity for the teacher to gain some knowledge, but also facilitates an increase in student talk time.
While teaching adults has its benefits, such as highly motivated students with a greater attention span, it may pose some drawbacks. Some potential setbacks include adults being more reserved or self-conscious about participating in some types of activities (especially in classes with a mixed level), and the classes cutting into their “me” time, perhaps before or after regular working hours.
