In this unit I have learned detailed information about each of the present tenses. I learned about the present simple tense, how to make the negative form with "not", how to use the infinitive "to do" with it, and how it is generally used for habits/routines and general facts/truths. I learned about the present continuous form which is used when actions are in progress at the time of speaking or around the time of speaking. I learned how to make the negative form with "not", and how to use the verb "to be" + ing to conjugate. I learned about the present perfect tense, how to make the negative with have/has + "not", some irregulars such as go --> gone, cry --> cried, the functions which are: relating something in the past to the present, indefinite past actions, unfinished past actions, and past actions with present results. I also learned that this tense is generally used with state verbs. I learned about the present perfect continuous tense which is an action continuing up until the present point in time. I learned how to make the negative form by adding "not" between have/has and been, the usages which are: incomplete and ongoing activities with duration, recently finished activities with present results, and that this tense is generally used with action verbs.
