I learned about the different versions of the past tense. I learned about the past simple tense which talks about a completed past action when the time is given, when the time is asked about, and when the action clearly took place at a definite time. I learned about the past continuous tense which is used for interrupted past actions and actions that began before that time and probably continued after it. I learned about the past perfect tense which is used for actions that occurred before other actions in the past. I learned about the past perfect continuous tense which is used to talk about longer or situations in the past that had been going on continuously up to the past moment that we are thinking about. I also learned activities and teaching lessons that could help students become more acquainted and learn these tenses more easily.
