This was a very interesting unit. I've learned many new concept terms that all schools use to help students learn. Even for classes that aren't for ESL learners. The way to Engage, Study, and Activate along with all of its variants is very interesting. Also to know what each step means and knowing what to do within each step will help me as a Teacher of a Foreign Language. There were many examples in the Engage phase that really let the light bulb for me. Some of these included Word Link and I Spy games which are fantastic games. The tough part is finding out which activity is for what level learner. I also found that mistakes and errors aren't the same. As fluent English speakers we often use these two words interchangeably which can be wrong. Understanding the difference in quite an eye opener.
