Here Below you can check out the feedback (for one of our units) of one of the 16.000 students that last year took an online course with ITTT!

This unit helps identify the various types of present tenses and the appropriate usage of these present tenses. There are 4 types of present tenses; present simple, present continuous, present perfect and present perfect continuous. These various present tenses are applied based on the information that one is trying to convey. The present simple is used to convey habits, routines, general truths and facts. Present continuous is used to convey actions in progress at the time of speaking or around the time of speaking. Present perfect is used to relate the past to the present either in relation to an unfinished duration (expressing duration) or an indefinite past (expressing experience). The Present perfect continuous combines present continuous and present perfect and are used to relate the past to the present but focus more on the continuity or duration of the action. It may also be used to express the unfinished past. The unit highlights simple and fun activities for the activate stage of the ESA method that can be used with beginners and be expanded upon to suit advanced level students. This unit took me a little longer than I expected to learn and understand the differences between the usage of the various present tenses in the right context. I know how to form and use the right present tenses in sentences but the formation and structure of the sentences took me a while to wrap my head around. It was a very useful unit.
