Pronunciations differ depending on where the speaker is coming from. Even two different native speakers might pronounce one particular word differently depending on their accents. There are two things you should pay attention to in pronunciation. Intonation and Stress. Intonation has to do with the variations in the voice through a statement or sentence whilst stress has to do with rise and fall in voice wth respect to individual words. You can use gestures, humming, singing, nonsense words, etc, as techniques to teach intonation. In every multisyllabic word, one or more parts are stressed. Choral and board work can be employed as techniques for teaching stress in English.
