This unit it seemed to me a little tricky when it comes to teaching it to students , especially for those having English as their second language. The conditionals 'if' or 'When' (might,may ) are often used in a everyday conversation by all English speakers . Most of these citizens don't even realize how confusing it is to actually learn all of the correct and the incorrect forms of some of the simple parts of a sentence for other cultures. Therefore , I had to pay a close attention to the technics provided in this context because It can get very confusing for someone who's willing to learn English as a second language.
On the other hand, the second part of the content,in my opinion ,it can be even more difficult to be understood and well absorbed by foreign students then the first one. For instance, in a dialog or a play ,people may talk direct or indirect to one another . In English , in order to do that ,the student needs to be familiar with switching from one tense to another by using the appropriate terms for a certain time frame .
I do understand that I'll have to put in a lot of work to come out with the best teaching methods on this particular subject .
