I this unit I learned about how to use songs, chants, and music in class to teach vocabulary, pronunciation, and grammar. Using games in a classroom is also a good way to engage and teach the students. This unit covered multiple games that can be adapted for use in the classroom. It talked about how stories can be a good way to practice reading, speaking, and writing. Seasonals activities are always fun to do; this unit gave some good suggestion for holiday activities. Also, in this unit, it talked about how important movements are when teaching Young Learners. Drama and acting out stories can be a good way for YL to remember vocab and practice speaking. Finally, I learned how to properly write a lesson plan for a YL's class using the ESA methodology.
