In this unit I learned about different examinations and their purposes. I can see this as being helpful in a bigger school. We only have a limited number of class slots grouped together in age group as well as we can, but later if we see a student moving faster than the others, we will try to advance them into the next age group.
I enjoyed the syllabus pointers. I really need to use a syllabus in order to maximize the effectiveness in my teaching. One of your links is outdated (by Adam John Simpson). I found a good basic syllabus template in Google Docs.
