I this unit i learn about the formation of intonation. This is when the speaker speaks with intentions to say no more or expecting the other person to speak. We have the fall/rise pattern which is a little different from the fall and may indicate the speaker hasn't yet finished speaking what he/she has has to say. Whereas the fall indicates a complete stop of the speaker. Also , i learned about the flat intonation indicating the speaker doesn't have much to say. Further , i learned about the role mouth organs play in the formation of intonation and stress in a speech.
