Pacifica, California TESOL Online & Teaching English Jobs
This unit gives us a useful overview of what we need to know about parts of speech in English language. It provides us with a brief description of each part of speech and it focuses on the most important aspects of it. Here is the list of parts of speech we have gone through in this unit: nouns, adjectives, articles, verbs, adverbs, gerunds, pronouns and prepositions/conjunctions. Since English is an analytical language, we need to pay attention to its syntactic constituens and their fixed word order in a sentence. In order to successfully form the sentence, we need to start by getting familiar with each part it may contain.
