This unit covers the four present tenses: the present simple, the present progressive (continuous), the present perfect, and the present perfect continuous. I particularly enjoyed reading over the tenses in this unit because it made me remember how my Spanish classes were taught. Having learned another language, applying those learned tenses from Spanish and applying it to English made me realize the similarities between the two languages. Recently I have been learning Korean and Chinese and from what I have learned so far, the tenses in the Asian languages are more simple than those those of the European languages.
