This section was easier to understand than the present tense section because it was able to draw a lot of parallels with the present tense lesson. It was interesting to find that some of the tenses we use is actually not regularly used at all, and hence not one that daily English speakers would think of using. I think the usage sections can be used to perhaps describe the concept of why the form is set a certain way to explain the relation of perfect and continuous rather than just listing out possible usages. Listing out because a memorization exercise, whereas understanding why the structure is that way gives analysis and allows for more experimentation.
