This unit was well-prepared and is useful in that new teachers will have a better understanding of the when/where/how/why of various exams/testing methods- which are valid (and often the most valued) forms of evaluation. Although there was nothing really new for me in this unit, it was an (important) refresher/reminder regarding the purpose of diagnostic tests in language learning/teaching (the term itself is easily enough to determine via concept, but I had not used it in quite a long time).
