This unit covered the future tense, which is the most complex one because it has seven possible forms, two of which are actually of the present tense but with future meanings. These two are the present simple (for situations like schedules and time tables) and the present continuous (for plans without a time frame or definite arrangements in the future). There is also the going to future which is "be going" plus the infinitive. This is to convey planned future events, intentions, and predictions based on present evidence. The other four forms are future simple, future continuous, future perfect, and future perfect continuous, which all resemble their past and present counterparts but in a future time frame.
