This unit covered evaluation and testing of students. It broke down the different kind of tests students may have to take during their English learning experience and also any external testing they may be preparing for. I thought this unit was interesting because it gave insight into the reason why students may be learning English. I was particularly interested in learning about the TOEIC exam because I hope to teach in either Japan or Korea where that test seems to be most prevalent, so that gives me a good idea of what some of my potential students may be preparing for. Overall this unit was enlightening and I now have a better idea about the evaluation process of students' progress.
