This unit provided a solid overview of the many different parts of speech within English grammar. By organizing the various parts of speech into concise categories, this unit serves as a practical resource when refreshing the conventions of English language. The provision of simple, yet useful examples also helps to reinforce specific grammar usages. I appreciate how this lesson provided the most basic parts of speech and their functions, progressing to more complex forms. Though I am a native English speaker, grammar is not something that I frequently dwell on as I go about my daily life. Therefore, I am grateful that this unit helped to reinforce my prior understanding of the parts of speech as well as teach me new language nuances, solidifying the conventions I was less familiar with.
