This unit examined modal verbs as well as extended further variants of tense into active and passive. The difference between active and passive voice is the passive voice changing around in order within the sentence (object to subject). Modal verbs are sperated by intent, where replacing a vet such as ‘should’ with ‘has to’ will dramatically change the sentence. I also learnt of three types of clauses; dependant, independent, and relative. Where independent clauses are full sentences, relative clauses may contain a short fragment of information that merely clarifies the subject before explaining further.
