This section highlighted the importance of creating a good lesson plan. A solid lesson plan can be an outline to go off of while teaching, a record of what was taught, and it makes teaching easier for beginning teachers. In addition, it also makes the teacher feel and seem organized in front of the students. I like how the material suggests the lesson plan as a beginning point and something to refer to, instead of using it as an exact script. That makes teaching feel more relaxed and able to go with flow of what the students need. In addition, the use of lesson plans make it easier to see which ones worked the best, so they can be used in future classes.
