From watching the two videos it becomes apparently clear that the attitude of a teacher will directly influence the outcome of the students learning during a class. In the first video the teacher is condescending and impatient. In the second video the teacher employs positivity and engages each and every student to ensure good participation from the class. What I have learned from watching these two videos is that as a teacher it is important to establish a good rapport with the students and must be patient in explaining details of the vocabulary which they do not understand. It is also important to mix things up for example grouping them into groups of three or pairs when doing study work or during an activity phase. A nice balance must be struck between teacher talking time and student talking time.
