Unit 5 covers classroom management principles, from how to arrange the physical space, to various types of group work with their advantages and disadvantages, managing disruptions and building a solid, professional, appropriate yet not intimidating teacher-student relationship. One of the parts I like the most was the one in which, as teachers, we were reminded that our own behaviour and the values we portray can have a massive impact on the behaviour of our classes. i strongly believe that if there is an issue in our class, we must first assess our own choices and approach and then look into what we can improve in the behaviour of our students.
