Unit 7 was about "Teaching new language". It focused specifically on how to teach/introduce vocabulary, grammar and functions. I learned how to select vocabulary, what student need to know about the new vocabulary and how to implement it into an ESA lesson. Then I learned how to present grammatical structures and functions in an ESA lesson. I found the tips on introducing new vocabulary in the engage phase with mime, pictures and realia particularly interesting.
