Future tenses can be broken down into seven categories: The future simple. the future continuous, the future perfect, the future perfect continuous, Be going+infinitive, The present simple, the present continuous.
Future simple is used with shall/will + verb.
Usages: Future facts and certanties, Promises, Predictions, Assumptions, Spontaneous decisions, Threats
Future continuous is used with will+be+verb+ing
Usages: To say something will be in progress at a particular moment in the future, To predict the 'present' to say what we think or guess might be happening now, For polite enquiries referring to other people's plans, but not to influence the listener's intentions, To refer to future events which are fixed or decided (without suggesting personal intention)
Future Perfect: will+have+past participle
Usage: To say that something will have been done, completed or achieved by a certain time in the future
Future Perfect Continuous: will+have+been+verb+ing
Usage: how long something will have continued by a certain time
Be going: verb "to be" in the present, going to, base form of verb
Usage: Intentions, Predictions based on present evidence, Plans
