In unit 8 we have learn the system of future tenses. Future tenses system a little bit differs from past and present. It consists of seven different tenses: future simple, future continuous, future perfect, future perfect continuous, be going + infinitive, present simple, present continuous.
Future simple form is used for future fact and certainties, promises, predictions (based on no present evidence), assumptions, spontaneous decisions, threats.
Future continuous form is used for saying that something will be in progress at a particular moment in the future, for predicting the present, for polite inquiries, for referring to future events which are decided.
Future perfect form is used for saying that something will have been happened by a certain time in the future.
Future perfect continuous form is used for saying how long something will have been happening by a certain time.
“Going to future” form is used for intentions, predictions based on present evidence, plans made before speaking.
Present simple form is used for suggestions a more formal situation, for timetables, for suggestions a more impersonal tone.
Present continuous form is used for definite arrangements, decisions without a time frame.
