This unit provided a general overview of the future tense. However, unlike units 4 (present) and 6 (past), which presented only the four aspects (simple, continuous, perfect, and perfect continuous) of the tense, this unit also noted 3 additional forms that can have a future meaning: "be going to", present simple, and present continuous. For each aspect or future-meaning form, grammatical structure, usage, typical student errors, and recommended teaching activities were discussed. For me, it was helpful to consider the 3 additional forms with future meaning along side the 4 primary aspects.
