This lesson taught me the importance of phonology. As teachers, it is very important to teach students not only to read but also to pronounce properly. Teaching vowels, consonant and IPA is very critical in one's learning and building skills on pronunciation. It is very important to read however it is more important to read with proper pronunciation. Teachers should always practice themselves to study IPA so they can teach students in a very friendly and comfortable approach.
