For this unit, I have learned about the types of Past Tenses. The four types are Past Tenses are Past Simple, Past Continuous, Past Perfect and Past Perfect Continuous.
We use the Past Simple tense when the action is already completed at a definite time in the past. When the action happened in the past and is probably ongoing at the present then we use Past Continuous tense.
We use Present Perfect when the action has already completed and occurred before other action in the past. When an action has already completed at some point in the past then we use Past Perfect Continuous.
