Unit7 has covered all necessary info about teaching vocabulary, grammar and language functions as well as explained in detailed and easy way all important points that must be taught in order to make lesson productive and successful. I've got to know all difficulties that students usually face with learning new vocabulary, how to select it correctly and what each student must know about vocabulary item. I was given a variety of techniques to use for each phase when teaching vocabulary and a standard example of ESA vocabulary lesson. Also I discovered that 'straight-arrow' structure is used for teaching vocabulary whereas 'boomerang' and 'patch-work' structures are used for introducing grammar and teaching language functions. I was also given standard examples of ESA grammar lesson and function lesson that I've jotted down for further use.
