Unit 13 walked me through teaching different groups of students as beginners, business people and individuals. Each group except individuals has its own categories. For example "beginners" are divided into 5 categories: the absolute beginner, the false beginner, the adult beginner, the young beginner, the beginner without Roman alphabet. But usually all categories of beginners have similar problems to deal with and methodology and techniques are the same. I've learn all points to avoid considering motivation aspect when teaching beginners too. Teaching individuals has its own advantages and disadvantages and a lot of activities for the activate phase are not suitable. Teaching children is rewarding and motivating for most teachers because of the curiosity they posses but has some difficulties too, so I went across all do's and don'ts and discipline management. Teaching business people is a well-paying niche but at the same time it requires a high level of self-control and self-organization as well as flexibility.
