Unit 5 introduces the topic of how to manage the classroom.
Although there are various personalities and ways of managing a classroom, it is relevant that the teacher inspire confidence in the students. There are many ways of building confidence in the class, such as eye contact, voice inflection, and establishing rapport with the students.
Throughout this lesson, we learnt that every aspect starting with the classroom arrangement to the teacher's stance during an activity can have a positive or negative effect.
As a teacher, it is important to, once again, identify the audience. From there, one can focus on how much discipline is necessary, how to give instructions, how to group the students, etc.
