To be able to be a good teacher, the first think that I would need to focus on is understanding the learning level of my students. Once I have determined what age and level they are, then I would be more likely to build a learning platform that will most likely end in success instead of failure. If my teaching style is motivated, creative, patient, and enthusiastic, than my students will be able to sense that and most likely reflect those feelings into their own studies. Each class will be different, so it is my responsibility as the teacher to form lessons that will make English interesting and fun to learn. English can be difficult, and learning it may be daunting, but if I can provide my students with a positive, constructive environment, they will be more likely to want to learn and make the mistakes necessary to move forward. I want them to be comfortable asking me questions and being corrected in order to learn as much as possible. Learning a language takes a lot of time and patience, but if I can make it interesting and fun, my students will be more likely to stick with it.
