Differences between shall and will Shall is used for making suggestion and invitation etc.in affirmative sentences its use had become more formal. Shall we dance? Where shall I send your mail? Will generally expresses a stronger intention, coercion, or determination than shall . Future continuous: Subject + will +be + ing We will be waiting for you. Negative form : By adding not between will and be : I won't be wearing a dress. Yes no question Will you be holding a red rose? Yes .I will / no I won't Usage : 1-To say that something will be in progress at a particular moment in the future 2-to predict the present to say what we think or guess might be happening now. 3-For polite enquiries to other people's plans, but not to influence the listener's intentions. 4- To refer to future events which are fixed or decided. Future perfect Will have + past participle Usage: The future perfect tense is used to say that something will have been done, completed or achieved by a certain time in the future. Future perfect continuous: Will + have + been + verb + ing We use this tense to say how long something will have continued by a certain time . Be going to : Usage: 1- intentions 2-predictions based on present evidence 3-plans
