It was really great to be able to witness an example of a good and bad lesson, and being able to witness it in the video portrayal. It is clear that instructor attitude and preparation is key when considering the output on the class. I don't know why the instructor is not wearing shoes in either lesson, however. The entire first lesson started painfully as there was no engage activity. The entire first lesson progressed poorly with various activities taking place out of context. The second lesson was, of course, much more effective, with a well structured plan and execution. The engagement of the students in both lessons reflected the attitude and preparedness of the teacher.
